Hello readers and visitors! I was away yesterday to see my favourite group,
U-Kiss. Remember my previous post when I told you that I was sad because U-Kiss is here but I can`t go see them? Well, a day before the showcase (exactly 30minutes after their arrival) my sister received a phone call she won the Grand Prize for Ukiss Showcase and that's when we realize that we ARE going to see U-Kiss for the second time. Since
shit happens at home, so only me and my sister, Kayet Junior went to the showcase with our spazzing buddy, Tiqah. So.. here's the fanaccount. I don't want to be too precise because I myself got the ticket for free. And indeed, this is more like fan-spazzing rather than a professional fanaccount.
LUNCH- I was not there so I can't tell you much.
SHOWCASE-
The venue : not as "exclusive" as last year. This time, it was the open spaced area @ The Pavilion. Seriously, I like
Plenary Hall KLCC better.
-
The MC : She's nice enough to memorize all the members' name but she should
study more before MCing and interacting with the boys and the fanss. When she asked the fan "who's the good cook", and the fan replied "Eli in Chef Kiss" she was like "huh? selfish?" we're like..."go back and study, woman!"
-
The fans : I should say... so many newbies. Thanks to the organizer to make it FREE because if it's not free, it will only be 1/4 fans coming AND during the songs, only a few are doing the fanchant. I can still remember Kibum's face last year when we didn't chant during Man Man Ha Ni so the night before the event, I memorized the fanchant like crazy (but still fail to memorize all) but then, only 20% of the fans doing it. Earlier, they didn't realize that the boys were already at the venue because my sister and I heard their voices and we're like "it's the boys!" and the so-called Rocketboxx staff said "no, they're still at the hotel".
pabbo-
The Fanclub : Seriously, if you're the committee of the official/non-official fanclub, at least
be friendly! This is so different from
Empire Malaysia's staff who were so friendly. The staff from Rocketboxx, My-Kissu and U-Kiss Malaysia were so stuck up and
didn't smile at all. With that "oh-i'm important" face, no one would listen to you when you tell us about the plans, and everything. Your friendly look will convince people about your fanclubs/forums. Please smile a bit and be friendly and more people will join the fanclub.
-
The U-Kiss Members : It's sad that the most friendliest members were no longer there but the boys are doing very well on stage without the translator. AJ (i like his accent!), Kevin and Eli handled the stage very well and congrats to Leader and Magnae's "groundless confidence" in speaking English, they make us proud to have a group who really live up to their name, Ubiquitous International Super Star. They ARE. Kiseop looks a bit unhappy and he's not as hyper as he was last year. We enjoyed his dorkiness but this year, he just stood there and make fan service once in a long while. Maybe if he knows English well, he will be talkative like the others too. Hoon looks lost and scared. Don't worry Hoon, we love you! hahaha... thanks to Soohyun and AJ who helped him a lot onstage. I hope his stage manner will improve and he will be more confident in the future.

The Performance: I can't say much because this is the
bestest part of the show. They sang
0330, Man Man Ha Ni, Bingeul Bingeul and Shikkeuro. Those who said U-Kiss can't sing live should kill themself because my
seobang Soohyun did the screaming part very well and I just can't help myself but to stood up and applaud for him. AJ needs to sing Xander's part accordingly. He tried too much to do it like Xander but failed. And the "shut up shut up... shikkeuro!" part is offbeat XD but Hoon's attempt to sound like Kibum was cute! haha...The audio was awesome although I think it's too loud. But overall, they were awesome just like that! seriously, even Kiseop's voice can be heard clearly during the performance ^^

The Showcase : All in all, it's a successful show. However, it is worth it for free. I think if I bought the 650 ticket, I will write this differently. The price is not worth it with what they got. Seriously, I pity the VIP buyers. They deserve to get better privileges. There's no real fansigning session, just a CD-giving session and the games were lame.. I must say.. indeed it is for lucky fans, but at least, play a game that the audience can enjoy and anticipate too. I am still keeping my word that last year's showcase is the best so far and I hope a very good/thoughtful organizer will bring them again next year, considering all the pros and cons of this year's event.
And the best part.... I
MET BAKI!!!! mwahahha... the main reason for me to be happy to go there was to see him XD I even brought along our
8tv Nite Live Jjang's placard from last years' fanmeetings and Baki still remember us through the placard and also through our special shoutout to him. mwahahha... but to bad, so many fans were surrounding him so I don't want to bother him to take picture with me and my sisters. And I managed to hand him my little gift XD kekeke~
Below are two from 1540 pictures that we took. If you want to see more, please add
Kayet Junior on Facebook. As I'm writing this, I am still watermarking 300 pictures to be uploaded there. It's crazy! hahaha~ and Blogger is being a bad boy. I tried to upload pictures of each member but I only managed to upload Soohyun and Dongho..
my biases XD

Leader Soohyun

My son XD

And this is
the ugly me with the signed CDs and 8TV Placard. we also received event posters and I like it ^^
p/s: sorry if there are so many typo. XD
