{MUSIC REVIEW} BTOB - Beep Beep

ARTIST: BTOB
TITLE : 뛰뛰빵빵 (BEEP BEEP)
STARS: ****

I heard the mp3 version of this song first before I watch the MV and I instantly fall in love with the music. I like this pop-ish kind of song, and as I was waiting for this comeback, I told my Katalk chatmate that I wish they will come back with songs like "2nd Confession" or at least like "WOW" and Cube granted my wish! I love the beat of the song, and the overall arrangement of the song. It actually surprised me that Peniel sang more than once in this song keke. As I listened to it, I was like "eh, this sounds like Peniel, but eyyyy I don't think he has that much of lines to sing!" but when I saw the MV, I was pretty excited about Peniel having a few more lines this time lol.

Being a "fan" of BTOB (I am not considering myself a stan, or even a Melody because I will only give attention to them when they have nice songs in their albums, or a nice title song and I don't like their debut song, and also Thriller), it's been a while since I watch them on stage, since 2nd Confession promotion. Therefore, it is kinda exciting to see them back on stage, promoting again with this fun new title song.

Talking about the MV, it is just a normal MV WHICH I tend to hate at the first teaser because of the butt-shoving girls in the teaser. Why do they have to put that as a teaser when they know that 90% (not my calculation, but just my wild guess) of the fandom is dominated by girls, so GIRLS don't really likes seeing other girls' butts (unless they have their own gender preference) but after watching the full video, I found the video as FUN to watch. It doesn't have a story line, but they make use of the SUPER NICE cars to show the title of the song, and in relation to the breaking-up with their girls. The last part is the funniest part where they received tickets for, maybe parking at the wrong place lol XD Nothing much to interpret in the MV, but you can enjoy the scene while dancing along to the chorus part.

Overall, this is such a fun song to listen, and personally, it relates to me because when I'm feeling down, I love to drive around town alone to relax myself. In conjunction with this album's promotion, BTOB appeared in the MWave's Meet&Greet session, and I bought 48 copies of the CDs. It was all worth it because they read my message (and was awed with the fact that I am a teacher XD) and I just can't wait to receive them all hahaha~
